Think about rethinking what you're thinking, before speaking the thought you were thinking, and cause unintended consequences for speaking what you probably shouldn't have been thinking.

About This Quote

Think before you speak. This is very true when it comes to the words that we speak. When you think about what you are going to say just before you say it, you have a tendency to say something that you probably shouldn't have been thinking about. In one study, researchers found that when people were asked whether or not they had been thinking about a word, they were less likely to report having been thinking about the word. But if people said they had been thinking about a word, their response was used as evidence of having been thinking about the word in the first place.
